Dana L. Mandel, D.M.D.
Originally from Walpole, MA, Dr. Mandel majored in Biology at Wesleyan University. Dr. Mandel received her dental degree in 2002 from Tufts School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Mandel received the Gentle Dental award for Exceptional Chairside Manner. After Tufts, Dr. Mandel went on to complete a one year residency program for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the University of Connecticut Health Science Center. Dr. Mandel came to work with her father, Dr. John Mandel, in Norwood in 2003. The father daughter team continued to work together for 10 years until Dr. John Mandel's retirement in 2013. Dr. Mandel and her husband, Dr. Matthew Ginsburg, reside in Boston with their two children.
Dr. Mandel is a member of several dental associations including the American Dental Association, the Massachusetts Dental Society, and the Metropolitan District Dental Society Study Club. Dr. Mandel prides herself on providing the highest quality dental work and looks forward to meeting you soon.
Ireni Barounis, D.M.D.
Dr. Ireni Barounis received her bachelor’s degree in Health Science from Boston University. After graduating from college and prior to receiving her dental degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, Dr. Barounis spent two years working as an orthodontic assistant, trained by a very well-known and distinguished orthodontist. After receiving her DMD, she furthered her training by completing a residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the Family Health Center of Worcester through NYU Langone. Working in an underserved population she gained immense experience in all aspects of dentistry including endodontics and oral surgery.
Dr. Barounis is an active member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society. She is also an Invisalign provider. 
Dr. Barounis believes that each patient is unique. She prides herself on offering individualized care to each of her patients and treating all patients with compassion.
When she is not in the office, Dr. Barounis enjoys spending time with her family, trying new restaurants and traveling.
Melissa Francis, Office Manager
Melissa has enjoyed working in the dental field for over 15 years and has experience in both the front and back of the office. She is pleased to help our patients navigate the complex details of their insurance coverage. In her spare time she enjoys the company of her family, rescue beagle and binge watching Bravo-TV reality shows.
Fanny Chen, Certified Dental Assistant
Fanny has been working as a dental assistant for more than 10 years with experience in General, Orthodontics Endodontics Dentistry and Oral surgery. Fanny’s philosophy of patient care is to offer kind and compassionate care. Fanny is fluent in English and three dialects of Chinese . In her free time she enjoys saltwater fishing with her husband and spending time with her family.
Jacklene Mustafa, R.D.H., B.S., Hygienist
Jacklene has been a hygienist since 2013. Jacklene graduated with a bachelor of science degree in dental hygiene from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene. It is Jacklene's goal to provide comfort along with the best care possible. Outside of work, Jacklene enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Annette Parker, R.D.H
Annette Parker has been a hygienist since 1995. She graduated with an associates degree in science from the Forsyth School of Dental Hygiene where she received the Hu Friedy Golden Scaler Award for Clinical Excellence. Throughout her years as a hygienist, Annette has enjoyed developing relationships with her patients to better provide for their dental health. In her spare time, Annette gardens and, with her husband, takes care of her 4 dogs and 13 chickens.
